Change to Opening Times
Due to a volunteer shortage on Monday and Tuesday day’s the shop will now temporarily be closed on these two day until new volunteers can be sourced.
If you can spare 4 hours at any time and any week please contact us, you will be able to help us stay open throughout the week.
Our new opening times are as follows THU and FRI 9am -4.30pm and SAT 9am-12.30am
Currently we are also looking for cover on Friday 7th May am and Sat 8th am.
Christmas Opening
We’ve decided to give all our volunteers a well earned break this Christmas, after all everyone’s worked really hard to get the shop open this December. So we will be closing from today over the Christmas and New Year break and will re-open on the 4th Jan.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing in the New Year.

Can you help out in the shop?
Hooray we’re open and we had a great launch -photos to come. Thank you to everyone who came down, we’re glad that you could help us to celebrate the launch. Please continue tp revisit – have a look at our opening times.
We’ve still got some work to do around the shop so please do keep in touch if you can help. Right now we’re really looking for volunteers who can spare a few hours to help out in the shop. If you can spare some time we can provide valuable customer service and cash handling work experience and a reference. Please do get in touch at volunteers@holbeckfoods.org.uk.
Cake and Coffee Morning Launch
We’re opening the shop at 10am on Monday 7th December so please do come along and help us celebrate. You can do your shopping at the same time!

Ready, Steady, Launch ….
We’re working hard to be ready to open our first shop on Monday 7th December. So make your way down to 30 Recreation Street at 10am to join us for our opening coffee morning and do some shopping at the same time!
